They don't bug me when I remember to put oil up my nosei don't worry about that much. they don't seem to be attracted to snot and i haven't been snorting potting soil...

I first saw those on melting snow banks, and was curious what could possibly be moving in those temperatures. My curiosity turned to surprise when a few began jumping on me... but regardless of their name, they don't bite.Snow fleas
