Seeds, toilet paper, plastic, cup ... I got it :)!

But, could I do it? Probably right to the time when the sprout seeds would have to be moved into soil. Then my digitS' would be all thumbs.

I know a lady who starts lots of plants in lots of ways. She describes moving naked sprouts as a "mindnumbingly painstaking" activity. I don't know how that would translate. I'm not sure if "mindnumbingly" is a word ;).

New seedlings more, and places less for it. What an injustice! Therefore, I sow flowers in the economy rolls.
I cut into strips garbage bags, put them on the toilet paper and sprayed with a spray. Then put the seeds, another layer of toilet paper, and spray. Then I wrap in rolls and put in a glass. At the bottom of the I pour a little water.
When the seedlings grow up, then I'll plant out separately.

In general, it will look like.
You can cover the bag for moisture before germination.

What a great idea, Larisa! Seeing the growing seedlings made all the difference for me. I suspect, Steve, that Larisa's way of starting plants would be easier on you when it came to separating the seedlings since the toweling already has the seeds apart.

There would be no reason I can think of for removing the toweling. Just take the plastic off and plant with toweling attached so transplant shock would be negligible. Toweling is biodegradable.

How long do you keep the seedlings in the cups before transplanting?

This flower seedlings will grow to true leaves on a roll. For vegetables would be better to make the rolls to the ground. In this case, they will grow stronger.

But you have to plant out plants before true leaves, too. Just expand the roll and put into a separate cup.

I "to drop the ball" with seedlings! I hope this is decent in the sense of the expression "make a mistake". My sons said, it is necessary to write a "screw up" but they are so suspicious smile...

I sowed the seeds in a box of cake. But I forgot to make an inscription on the planted seeds.

Then I forgot that I planted there. Then I forgot that I was to do something at the beginning of sowing. I thought that nothing was planted there. And I planted a new batch of white eggplant. Then I saw that instead of eggplant I have ascended the grass. I pulled it.
It was only later on I had an epiphany and I remembered that originally planted there to onions, also very rare variety.
But in spite of all my efforts of two bows still survived. I hope a miracle happens and onions will grow.
