Garden Tour

All of your hard work has paid off. Where do you live that tours are mid July. Over hear, our tours are in May.

I would love to see your garden in person. In fact, anybody's garden. Give us a tour via your camera. We really want to see it. I'm sure it will inspire us. Maybe even those who have weeds!

I wish I could enter mine in a garden tour, but I live out in BFE and they don't do that kind of thing here because no one want to drive this far out. ROTFLMAO

Hi everyone... thank you all for your kind words ! :bouquet I had to go to the hopital last Wed. at 6 AM for a staghorn kidney stone operation ( 1" incision in the back and a small one into the kidney , then lazer blasts to shatter the stone and suction out the peaces . Tubes inserted into bladder from the kidney and another out the back for drainage). Operation whent well and I had to stay at the hospital untill there was no more blood in the urine and was given antibiotcs and fluids via IV. That night I had a mild gout attack in my L knee. Being a holiday weekend, my Urologist as well as the Surgeon Specialist took a long weekend ( Thurs. through Mon.). I walked up and down the halls had breakfast and more walks in the afternoon. All was going very well untill Friday morning. I woke up with very painfull knee and both ancles around 3 am. ... they gave me morphine iv which didn't help much. I needed 40 mg of Prednisone which stops the pain within 24 hours. NONE was authorized by the urologist on duty. by late Friday afternoon, I was in so much pain that I couldn't even stand up. He offered codene, I TOLD HIM OFF and that I NEEDED Prednazone NOW . and NO drugs just to mask my pain. Well, he finally relented and I got some on late Saturday afternoon. My R ancle felt much better but the L knee and ancle still hurt quite badly. I was so bloated from the IV fluids and from the pain that I couldn't even eat since last Thurday. Well , on Mon. the nurse finally got permission from him to give me 10 mg of Prednizone by 8 am. but no more. I was furious . The nurses were on my side and called that so called doctor repeatedly over the last few days to no avail. The head event nurse ( came in from her holiday vacation ) came in to see me about filing a complaint. At which point, I told her that I am escaping and would have BETTER treatment at home... which I did by Mon. afternoon. When I got home, I decided to weigh myself... would you believe that I had gained 23 POUNDS and only had 3 very small hospital quality meals ? ?? since last Wed. Now, I can take a few shuffling steps and I am gasping for breath due to being so bloated. I just made an appointment with my Doctor for this afternoon, so we will see. Again... THANK YOU !!! row

It is unbelievable what you went through bobm. I hope you have a good doctor and will give you the right care. Hope you get better soon.

Wow Bob, you have been through some awful neglect! That is terrible! I hope your Doctor gets it all straightened out, more like you getting HIM straightened out!

When Steve and I said TOGA, we honestly weren't thinking HOSPITAL GOWN! Watch out for the draft up the backside!

I really have a sick humor........sorry I just can't help myself.........picturing Bobm proudly showing off his garden wearing hospital gown.......hope he remembered to put his underwear on!!
