Meet Pepper! She was one of three found under a hunting camp shooting house frequented by an employee. I am told by the vet that she is about 9 weeks old.

Hello Pepper :love she is sweet :)

I hope the other two was saved.
They were! She has a pleasant personality! It will be interesting to see how she grows up! I am speculating a hound-lab union but I am not a dog whisperer! She is smart though, She learned how to climb stairs in one go and uses the potty pads by preference! Now we have to deal with puppygate!

also good to have both Frank and Pepper together as puppies so they can take out all that energy on each other instead of the furniture or your shoes. :)
Oh about that...Frank had to go back home. Not that his owner was sad actually. His back surgery was healing more all the time. Turns out the jack russell and our 4 cats were never going to mesh. I was the one with a puppy hole in his heart after Frank went back. So when Pepper showed up I was a pushover.:)

Great, so his old owner will be made to exercise, which he needs to do and have his companionship. The cats will probably love pepper in time plus boss him around no doubt :love

My cat adores the dog they are really close :)

Pepper was the name of the German Shorthair Pointer that was Dad's dog when I was born. She lived until I was a teenager. It was fun for me to have her a part of the family, kind of an aunt :).

She was a hunting dog and there were certainly lots of pheasants in southern Oregon. A very patient companion.

She tolerated the sound of a gun but it must have been a near traumatizing time for those puppies.
