That is what I used to say about feeding stuff to chickens, usually "past it" vegetables, OFTEN, tomato skins after processing.

Let’s not take feeding dogs burnt food literally…it’s a joke… the funny facial expression on the dog in which the caption was added to the fit the dogs facial expression .
