one year we bought this tree that was so decrepit and crooked that even the stand would not hold it up. we ended up having to use dental floss tied to the curtain rods to hold it up. in our defense, it was the last tree they had on the lot and they practically gave it to us so they didn't have to deal with putting it back on the truck.

it wasn't the last tree we had, but pretty close.

One year we had to tie the holiday tree to the wooden beam of the vaulted ceiling to hold the tree up it was so big it took up the whole room.
It was the first year going to a tree farm and picking out a tree for the season out in the fields. In defense of the choice the tree looked a lot smaller out in the tree field. That’s when we all decorated the tree and made all sorts of new ornaments from the garden.

Happy Holiday;s to everyone…Cheers. My horses and a couple dogs all decked out for x-mas cards. IMG_6452.jpeg
