Got me thinking - WHY don't I have a waffle iron???
I don't usually go for single-purpose gadgets - but a friend uses hers to make all kinds of things.... and brags about it... and makes me drool with all the pictures she posts
Her fave is to put frozen hash browns, cheese, an egg, onions and who knows what else in it - Presto! Instant dinner!

I do that with George Foreman grill. I see waffle irons at goodwill all the time, bet you could pick one up at yardsale
