Got A Ticket Today

I was on my way to work coming from country house when a state trooper pulled me over. I always use cruise control so knew it wasn't for speeding. Why do they always ask if you know why your being pulled over? If I knew I wouldn't be doing it when I spotted you. my inspection sticker was due in Oct. What upsets me is my father always checked stickers on all family cars. I go to dinner with him every Sun night. For 4 months dad never noticed sticker, just one more sign of him showing his age.

I wouldn't blame your dad. It's your responsibility has the driver of that car to be on top of things like this. When I saw your post title, I thought you had gotten a ticket to Hamilton!

co-worker has this same issue. past few years been working with her & she whines why she keeps getting stopped. nice thing the police don't usually give her a ticket but funny this year one of the times it was the same cop from last year that remembered her & the same vehicle.

Inspection sticker? We no longer have that in Indiana.

We have to get vehicle inspected, then take receipt to get new license tags.

My DH has always been the car obsessed person who popped hoods. Now DD, DS and me are having to be more careful. DS figured out how to fix the back blinker light and helped DH take off a water pump and replace it.

The only ticket I ever got was for expired tags. It was a very expensive lapse of memory. We don't have inspection in Arkansas anymore either. Tough luck about the ticket. My daddy has been gone over 12 years now. Mama is starting to get forget though.

In many places if you have your inspection done promptly, and then contest the ticket, you can get it dropped.

That said, a lot of municipalities now use tickets as revenue streams and that practice may have changed.
