My incubation attempts have finally been successful. This morning was day 27 and I had turkey eggs pipping all over the place. It's amazing but nerve wracking so I took a little trip to town to do errands so I wouldn't be tempted to open the 'bator. When I came back expecting to see some yellow fuzzy turkey babies and there's this HUGE black thing crawling around-a duckie!!!! Two days early no less. I'm so happy I could just cry.

Ugh, I decided to just go ahead and take a quick pic with the incubator open and found the darn camera with no charge. But we're all done and I have one black and two blues. Pics are coming just as soon as that baby gets a half a charge or so.

Oh, that one I can do. This is my favorite pal Jefferson the Bourbon turkey.

Congratulations "Mom". Cute little fluff balls! :thumbsup

Jefferson sure has some big eyes, or 1 anyway, in that picture. No wonder turkeys have such good eyesight.

Oh, I just love my turkeys. Jefferson is so spoiled he just comes running when I call and wants me to hold him which is fine I guess until he gets to be about 30 pounds....
