Well thanks everybody! I have had a great day today -
and I got to say 'it's my birthday!!' about 50 times.
You only get to do that once a year so you have to capitalize
on it you know.

DH gave me some birthday money (he's allergic to shopping)
so I went into town to goof around. He suggested I buy some clothes but I got distracted at a home improvement store, -just planned on running in for a small item- and picked up all sorts of things for projects I've been wanting to do. Nearly shot all my birthday cash in one place!

Fortunately I had enough left for a pretty blouse (to validate my womanhood), haha. And no Mary, before you ask, I didn't buy it at the home improvement store.

Came home and played with the dogs and the horses, then made fish burritos for dinner (so good!) and headed over to the neighbors house for our weekly Bible study group.
Surprise!!! The whole neighborhood showed up for a surprise potluck birthday party! My neighbors are so awesome. All my garden kids were there and we all ate and had the most fun time ever.

It was really sort of a group March birthday party since there are 8 of us that celebrate this month, but since it fell on my day, and I'm the almost oldest (dh has the lead there) and this one is a major milestone, I got to blow the candle out on the apple pie.

So thank you all for your kind wishes, I'm feeling very rich in friends.
