Barefoot...I think alot of it has to do with my climate. It is just too foggy and cool here during the summer. My heirlooms grow fairely well and look healthy. They just don't produce very much. Hillbilly is my favorite and last year I only got about 6 tomatoes. 
I love heirlooms so I'll keep trying.
