Hey, @thistlebloom !

It was 41° in Sandpoint this morning.

35° in Springdale.

37° in Deer Park.

37° in Cheney.

36° at Hoodoo Mountain.

Can you believe it? Record heat at the end of June with several all-time high temperatures. A month later, and in the week with the highest average temperatures, we have morning lows in the 30's! I'm blaming @SweetMissDaisy because she complained about escaping Texas heat to find too much hot weather hereabouts!

;) Steve

Ew! Those temps won't do the garden any good. That's why Pollyanna never complains. It can always get worse.

Right now we are in a long hot stretch. DH keeps complaining about the heat, wondering why the weathermen keep putting those high temperatures up over and over each day. I keep telling him they only report the weather; they don't make it.

The cool feels good doesn't it Steve? As long as we don't hit the magic 32 I'm not unhappy. My thermometer is reading 49 and dropping right now. We are supposed to be heading into more summer heat now that we've had a little break. Where's @SweetMissDaisy ? Maybe she's flat out on her lawn absorbing all this coolness!

Taunted with thunder and lightening this morning. No rain though. Now it has been about 7 days without rain and I see the need. Friday, however, is predicted to be a very good chance.

At least the front brought less humidity and a (very) bit cooler temps to us. I don't complain, but I'll take any relief I can get.

Oh Brrr! I have been dreaming of cooler temps, but wow, not that much!

After many nasty humid days near 90° we are getting a break.
2" of rain yesterday, 65°and windy feels SO good this morning!

100% humidity here.... even at 75* (when I'm doing my evening rounds), the sweat just pours....
