Southern Gardener
Deeply Rooted
I'm still among the living - I think! Thanks for all messages, it's so nice to be missed!
Holy cow, this site sure is a lot different from the old one so I hope I'm doing this right. I'll go back later and read. Ha!
How are all my northern friends? Hope y'all are staying toasty warm and safe. I can't imagine that kind of cold, but it has been pretty cold for us here - 16 degrees here this morning. We haven't seen temps like that in years - I hope it killed a lot of bugs!
I didn't garden much in the fall as we've had so much rain and a lot of my garden soil washed into my neighbors yard! I had to wait two weeks for it to stop raining and dry out enough to shovel it back in - it was a mud pit.
Nothing much in my world has changed, except we've added two other critters to our zoo; another cat and a seven month old mixed breed pup that was dumped on the road. I have her posted on every social media network to get her adopted - any takers???
Oh, and sis and I are taking horseback riding lessons! Yay! When I was growing up, I used to cry and beg my dad to buy me a horse. I had posters all over my room of the horses I wanted. LOL! I still have my old scrapbook of horse stuff that I collected as a kid. Yeah, we'll have a couple of horses by the end of they year. Better late than never.
So tell me what y'all have been up to!!!
