I used to have a duct tape fairy.
The grill on my pickup was broken into several pieces after a deer attack and was held on by duck tape. After a few weeks of weather, the tape would start to peel. But every time I'd leave it at a friend's house while we went out - the duct tape fairy would come and replace all the tape.

(and if her husband ever finds out that I called him the duct tape fairy he will kill me)

Mustard seeds.

They pop like tiny popcorn in hot oil.

That is a way of making use of them as a spice in their more natural state. I need to try this sometime ...
