Never tasted a honey crisp and I'm tempted to buy one at the store. But I know home grown is best so I'll wait. Only got one because you and Steve have one haha. Since it's up on the deck hopefully it will be safe from rat although there's been no sign of one lately. I even have coddling moth bags to put around the tiny apples. Mary
