I don't have an off season. But not enjoying a fall garden because of us moving. So I keep busy by painting walls, laying floors, hauling stuff 160 miles north and waking up in the middle of the night, thinking about where i'll put a fence up first.

depends if the weather cooperates during the weekends, lately have caught up on some of those procrastination projects from early fall so now working on those winter ones.. theres not enough data space here to list them..
but the biggest one is to see if i can grow through the winter outdoors just using plastic as a cover. wednesday will be down to 11* :fl

ducks4you, it seems like you are very busy. I enjoyed hearing about your day. I guess you don't get bored like my friend thistlebloom. I don't think she has enough to keep her busy during the winter months. :D

Mary

You're darn right Little Miss Mary! In between twiddling my thumbs today I :
Shoveled a path from the back door to the chicken gate, then right to the horse gate then back left on the long arm back to the hay stack and the dog run, and continued back to the back porch, then I shoveled off the back patio so we can get to the ladder that reaches up to the dish on the roof from whence cometh our internet., moving on around the south side of the house i shoveled the path to the front door, then, OH!, goody, dh shoveled the sidewalk around to the garage and driveway so he could get the quad with the snowplow out and plow the driveway, so I continued a path to the tent/shed and cleaned all the snow off the roof, and worked my way to the woodpile and cleaned the snow out enough around the splitting stump so dh can split wood, or I can when he's not looking, then a path that the wheelbarrow will fit on back around dh's work truck so he can fill the wheelbarrow with the wood he's going to need to split so we can keep feeding the doggone fire, then took dh over to pick his jeep up from the mechanics (he had the driveway clear by now) came back home and started on laundry when I got a call from dh to come assist him because the jeep overheated on the freeway and he needed to get it back to the mechanics, did that, got back home, got the wood stove fire going again because we had been gone so long it went out, ate a late lunch and read your post about how bored I am.

When I'm not helping MontyJ in the garden during the summer, I have an outside job as a substatute cook for our local schools. But when I'm not at work, I enjoy crocheting and quilting. I have not made any quilts lately to post. I am currently working on a few hats for some of the kids.
