Just as I began to be a little tuckered out from the Indoor Mile, the online station played Nils Jiptner's "Pacific Coast Highway." It easily picked me up ... the station thinks Nils is a good choice because I like George Benson and they have performed together. I think the station's idea may be a good one .

Afterwards, as I escaped back to the lazyboy, I used YouTube to play a few of Nils' songs. Here's one of them .

It’s that time of year when the whales swim south.

A little funny that, brief as it may have been, it was a sunny afternoon yesterday. Still, by the time I had attended to some business, I was feeling a little dismal. The bright moon and, especially, the beautiful Venus lifted my spirits in the cold, nighttime sky. I went to bed and rose to an overcast morning sky, yet again. But, I'm not quite so dismal . The lyrics of this olde song have been playing in my mind .

I didn't know him until I watched Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and wow, he is such an adorable character!
