It might be a "wine" kind of evening around here too Hattie! I get so stir crazy being in the house all day. Or I'll probably end up having a couple of beers. I envy you on the other side of the atlantic where you can get good, fresh Guiness any time! NO FAIR! Sounds like you had a productive day though. Keep us posted on the B.W. experiment.

We were supposed to get nothing but RAIN from Friday until today. Never got any until yesterday morning... then nothing more until late last night... another shower today and now nothing but fog!

Trying to wait it out, but I ended up going out to weed a bit today after taking pictures. They seemed to come up without a fight, so next time it rains like this, I think I will be a major weeding again. Very quick and I got a lot in a short time!

Going to upload some photos shortly, I have some unexpected blooms... and my front perennial garden is really starting to fill out from last year. I'm loving it!!!!

I can't wait until I can get outside and back to my garden. Remember the lettuce? It's getting HUGE. I should have broccoli soon too. Let's see the pictures v!

My flowering tobacco has taken off in its pots. I'll get photos of the flowers at night when they finally start to bloom.

Grapes are finally touching the wire that's up for them to climb.

My first larkspur in bloom.... its supposed to be Earl Grey, but its obviously just a washed out purple I'm not happy with.

Looking good! Isn't it amazing how fast things grow if they get plenty of water and sunshine? I'll post an update if it ever dries out here.

Nice duck! I have two just like that and they are a lot of fun. My son just loves them. Don't even ask about the ordeal I had to go through with them after some hunting dogs got to them. They're ok though. Had to do what I could for them because they are my child's pets. Stupid hunters.:he

Hi there! :frow

Vfem, I saw your pink Brandywine & I'm as jealous as hell --it looks so LARGE & HEALTHY......!!!! :barnie Lovely photos; the plants look so huge & lush --Congratulations!

jlmann, :frow

I'm still drinking wine; just had my supper! I'm not keen on Guinness, I drink a dark ale called "Old Peculiar", made in Yorkshire (where I used to live for part of the year). My brother laughs at the name & tells me it's what I should be called -- Hmmm.....!!! :old

I must go to sleep or I won't have the strength to carry all those plants I intend to buy, home from the market.

Goodnight!

:rose Hattie :rose
