How many herb plants should I grow?

What with this era of sue happy customers for getting sick, hurt, death or anything else from foods and herbal medicines ... One other important cost item to consider is an errors, omissions , and liability insurance. It could save you from loss of everything that you own if you are found at fault.

The farmers markets have insurance. If you sell cooked food you have to have your own insurance and perhaps a license. I cannot imagine getting sick from fresh grown herbs. However, Jonathan sprouts is near to us. I believe they had a salmonella problem years back. So perhaps potted herbs instead of fresh cut are the safer bet.
