I think Red and Bee have the right idea. A large medicine dropper. No messing up the glass. Don't try to drill a hole in it!

That sounds like a lot of water for the succulent bowl you have, Nyboy. Visible water in a non-draining container sounds like a recipe for disaster. I have two succulent containers (with drainage) that set in the garden during the summer. During the winter they are lucky if I remember to water them 2-3 times total.

The fad now seems to be to put an ice cube on the surface of the orchid pot, weekly, to water it. That sounds cruel to me, somehow....

Thats how the tag says to water 1 ice cube a week. My friend lives in Key West,his gardener wired some orchids right to the trunks of palm trees in back yard. Thats how little water they need.
