My hubby is a work horse. He is strong and loves to "build" our farm. We also started canning together this year. He really does all the hard work. Digging, moving rocks, adding loam, etc. He helps me plant, but then the weeding and harvesting is my department. That is really only because he is usually busy working on other farm projects.
It took me a long time to figure out, that when I mention something, it means "come on let's do it now, I've researched and prepared". When hubby mentions something, it means, "hey, I'm mentioning this because some day maybe we should do it".
I think it sounds like you have a helper signed up though. Affermation, encouragement and thankfulness go a long way! I hope that you have an awesome garden this year and a wonderful time sharing the experience with your hubby!
