So I didn't order any new seeds, and didn't buy them in a seedstore that I've visited this week. Still managed to get new seeds! Won 2 varieties of eggplant in a Facebook group.

One thing, I'm not sure if Red China is a different species than the common eggplant. If it is, you may have some trouble if you are planning to cross it with something else at some future time.

Confirmed it, Red China actually belongs to Solanum aetheopicum so it is what is known as an aubergine africane. That also means it will get quite bitter when it is mature, so you may want to eat it before it actually turns red and save mature one for purely ornamental purposes.

Somewhere I have seed for the Ugandan pea eggplant (yet another species). I really ought to plant it.

I do believe we are mainly hoarders of corn seed :idunno

Bloody Butcher, Hasting's Prolific, Jimmy Red, Blue Hopi, Creek Indian, Painted Mountain, Glass Gem....phew I think that's it.

Alot of Clemson Spineless okra, Clay County Yellowmeat watermelon, purple hull peas, orca beans, broomcorn sorghum, zinnia, birdhouse gourd, cucumber seeds put up. But yes...mainly corn. I do love my corn.
