@aftermidnight sent us some Canadian weather. We left to visit kids. 30+ degrees easy weather. After she sends us her weather, -7 this AM with coldest weather in 50 years scheduled on 1/1. If I wanted Canadian weather, I’d move to Canada.^

Take it back, please......
You know Seed that many Nautherners migrate South for the winter for some R . Some of Sutherners are known to brag on some mean BBQs that they srounge up.

@bobm , the old and soft (those that have $$$$) do. Being old and poor, I’m stuck. Plus I can’t allow Canadians to run me out of my home.... but I can whine..... :)

I can’t go visit sister because her area is closer to Canada (colder) and lil brother likes to brag up his weather and cooking abilities-weather he has no control over and I get too fat on his cooking....costs too much for new clothes..

Hey hang on a dang minute @seedcorn it's not that cold up here, the little snow we had has gone :celebrate. Today it hung around 40ºf and rained, of course it gets a little colder at night. Now, if it was last year I'd say GUILTY as charged, winter was bl**dy horrible. Mind you winter has just started:(.

Annette, I thought Vancouver Island's climate got the benefits of the warm air currents coming up the Pacific coast? Is that another baseless rumor they told us in school?

I was gonna say ...

@aftermidnight is on the edge of a storm that is sending moisture this way! Now, she doesn't have to live with freezing temperatures but it's fairly cold here and if we get the predicted 1 or 2 hours of "mixed precipitation" tomorrow afternoon, it's gonna be treacherous gettin around!

Nothing will thaw, it will just freeze into the snow and ice that has been around for a week. So, if @aftermidnight is supposed to be providing any foreign aid ...

I spent most of a winter below the Mason-Dixon and it wasn't always that pleasant. No, migration from one hemisphere to another sounds best for me.

My neighbors are spending this week in Fargo. Good goobly goo!

Steve
