Seed we have between 2 &3 inches, it stopped a couple of hours ago. It's raining now hopefully by morning it will be gone, washed away :fl. Our house is very close the Nanaimo River Estuary , in other words the salt chuck, maybe one thousand yards.

We easily got over a foot today. I spent 3 hours clearing snow, mostly running the blower. I turned around and went over all my cleared areas again and it was still coming down hard. When I quit and came in my first clearings were buried in 3" again. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Husband will run the blower and I'll do the shovel work and take it off the tractor shed, dog run, and wood shed.

It looks like we have about 6 inches and a broken snow blower! So tomorrow we shovel it all. Good thing it is the fluffy kind 'Cause it is REALLY cold out there. Sub zero nights and single digit highs into the new year. :(

When we got our last big snow, about three years ago, DH made arrangements with a guy to come and blade our driveway. No need for him to come since. I hope he doesn't forget us when we do finally need him.
