It seems I need a responsible escort....

When one purchases or hatches their own chicks one also has to purchase feed, and with the price of feed these days it will require a bank loan to feed them not to mention all the work that they require. I have raised hundreds of chickens so now I can just admire the cute chicks from afar without falling for any inabling sights or sounds.

Hmmm….I guess I must be the only one immune to chicks LOL. I've raised so many chicks that now when I hear the chicks cheeping at the feed store, all I can hear is a lot of mess and work

You're not the only one immune! I will say, chicks don't tempt me at all...I can say "oh cute" and walk right on by, I just don't want them at my house! Even if I had the room (which I don't) I don't think I'd have them. Maybe some bunnies.

What I have a hard time saying No to is those poor pathetic old/lame/sick dogs that need a home...my poor hubby!

There's always room for chickies Heather! Just ask Mary.
I'll bet if somebody dropped a basket with a couple chicks in it off on your doorstep you'd have those "tracks" up your arms too! Bwahahahhaaa!!

Our feed store always has rabbits. :hide I really wan't to do rabbits :hide :hide :hide. As far as the chicks, I've got 200 give or take all different kinds and would pick up more in a heartbeat. :hide I really love chickens.
