So In my mind we train up the rabbits to herd the chickens.. But reality would be more like the mayhem commercials.

I think it would be far more likely that the chickens could be trained to herd the rabbits. Chickens can work together, can make plans for attack, er herding, and have well defined homing instincts.

Yes Heather, anybody can have chicks. I don't even use any of that fancy brooder equipment. I have 2 cardboard boxes in my bathroom. One, the chicks are in and the other has clean newspaper. When I clean their box, I put the chicks in the clean one and clean the dirty one. The boxes are covered with chicken wire. I use a regular table lamp without the shade and partially cover the box with a towel at night. Coops don't have to be very big. Mine is only 4 x8'.

I really think you NEED chickens!

When I was a teen I had a Flemish Giant buck that herded the goats.
Which was completely unhelpful since I didn't want them herded.

Haha! Now we're talking rabbits and goats! I bet the OP is annoyed!
