Thank you for sharing! What lovely pictures. I looked up the population of Moscow and it said 12.2 million in the city and 16.8 million in the urban area. That is one big city! Wikipedia had some interesting facts about public transportation. Do you use public transportation or do you drive?

Beautiful pictures. Looks great with NO people. My problem is add the people, cars, traffic, traffic jams, parking problems and in 5 minutes I'm screaming "Get me back to the country!!!!!".

Almost always public transportation. Metro fastest. In addition, there challenging road. Congestion on the roads, aggressive driving. If I go home late at night, I can go by taxi. It's quieter.
I'm screaming "Get me back to the country!!!!!".
Holy truth! :)
On the other hand - museums, exhibitions, theaters, concerts ... Do you want to - go to paint, learn to dance, throwing cakes, fly, swim with dolphins ... Well, a lot of things.
(My husband does not want to go anywhere he likes to go to a country house or a walk in the park next to the house. He also complains of:
add the people, cars, traffic, traffic jams, parking problems
..)

Thank you for sharing the pictures and something about your life, Larisa.

I lived in Moscow for about 5 years ... Moscow, Idaho USA :D.

It was then a town of about 15,000 people and home to the state university. I learned to enjoy a university town. As a kid, I didn't think I would ever like living in a town and especially not a city. Then I moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The "lake city" is mostly a resort town. It's so close to outdoor recreation that it appealed to me as a residence. I liked it! A farm kid, I began to realize that I could be happy living close to others.

City life ... I still don't know. My son likes cities and I have experience staying with him on visits and appreciated those opportunities. I've been to some large American cities like New York and Los Angeles. They throb with life! Individuals are like cells in a huge organism. I think I'd be more reclusive living there than I am now!

There is a Moscow in Texas, but I never lived there. I lived in the same county. Moscow, Texas is nowhere near the size of Moscow, Russia. Population is only about 170 people in the town.

I think that the "Moscow" sounds better than Noodle, Spot, Idiotville, Monkey's Eyebrow or Toad Suck. ;):D
They throb with life! Individuals are like cells in a huge organism.
And it is true. In fact, I would like to live in a small green town or farm, if it was an adequate exchange. But it is not. If I move there, I deprive my children many opportunities in the first place - a good education.
To live in a big city is difficult. In one day, you have to change a few incarnations. And you can just be yourself in a quiet village life.
When I get home, the threshold of the house - this is bound. At home with me should enter only the good. If there was something sad in this day, it should remain outside of the home. This rule does not apply to my men. They are not as stable as I am. But we have a tradition - it is the woman protects the house. Man "brings a mammoth."
There is a beautiful song. This song sings the husband to his wife. there are the words: "You sweet sleep, and I whisper to you, my dear. Thank you for the day, thank you for the night, thank you for a son, thank you for daughter. Thank you for what you has saved our little world among the pain and evil..."

Is there a difference in large city schools and small town schools? Here there are school districts that are better than others, some are excellent, some are dismal, most are good ones and give a good education. We live in a school district of a small town, but the district is above excellent, everybody wants their children to go here and property prices are crazy high because of the demand.

You are right, the woman sets the tone of the house. I like your song. There is a saying, The man is the head of the family. But the woman is the neck, and the neck turns the head.

In Russia, this saying is also very popular! Word by word!:D
Schools in Russia also differ in the quality of education. However, children are not attached to school, depending on where they live. Parents may choose a school. Just a school in the village do not have such opportunities. They often can not provide additional knowledge. Children worse write exams. It is sad.
