I had my oatmeal, brother. Did you? Has the heat of the south affected you? Maybe time to come North.
had a scrambled egg a piece of toast lightly buttered this morning.......
i will just have to deal with this heat wave for another 2 months and then yes heading up to 42.13°N 77.96°W for a week....

Don't get addicted to the wonderful summer weather of the north....vs heat/humidity of south. Not sure the North could handle both of us.....

Major, what didn't you like about the white beets? was it taste? growing habits? i have heard some bad things about taste so have avoided them. i don't care for the reds but i had tried the goldens this year & love them roasted-not much earthiness to them & somewhat sweet taste.

to me they had a woody texture to them small med large it did not matter, it was a neat experiment.
can cross them off my bucket list...

dw and i perfer the goldens over the reds as well... but again have not tryed other types of reds, will have plenty of time to read up on them this summer.

Just since there's no plants going into the ground does not mean nothing coming out of the ground to eat. Yesterday and today's harvest..

the sun came out today and started to dry things off a bit, we have received 6.99" of rain ......nola being stuck in the house for basically 4 days during our walk she decided to go for a swim...... if it was any bigger i would have joined her....
