dw and i went out early this morning and picked a few bush beans...

canner will be put to work again shortly and dw going to make some more 3 bean salad...

I am starting to feel what @seedcorn must feel like when I have tantalized him in past seasons with my previous rich bounty from the garden, while he still had cold and snow. Inadvertently he is getting his revenge now. I look out at my garden, struggling to survive being planted in a sand dune, scalded by searing heat, offering up it's meager harvest and then feast my eyes on major's bountiful harvest.

wondering if I could cut out catalog pictures and tape them on my plants to make myself feel better..........

was thinking the same thing last night..
now @baymule you could put down astro turf around the house buy hubby a riding rower and remove the blades to give him something to do, of course at the end of the season all you need to do is vacuum it....
