Those Chu Chu eggplants look cool. Do they get very big? That plant is loaded.

Your garden sure is bountiful. I bet you were green from head to toe after wrestling with those big tomato plants. :D

nothing like being covered in tomato grease.....

dw and i went out early this morning and picked a few bush beans...

canner will be put to work again shortly and dw going to make some more 3 bean salad...

I am starting to feel what @seedcorn must feel like when I have tantalized him in past seasons with my previous rich bounty from the garden, while he still had cold and snow. Inadvertently he is getting his revenge now. I look out at my garden, struggling to survive being planted in a sand dune, scalded by searing heat, offering up it's meager harvest and then feast my eyes on major's bountiful harvest.

wondering if I could cut out catalog pictures and tape them on my plants to make myself feel better..........

you could be like some of those people in CA that were so desperate to have a green looking lawn they spray painted it green!

was thinking the same thing last night..
now @baymule you could put down astro turf around the house buy hubby a riding rower and remove the blades to give him something to do, of course at the end of the season all you need to do is vacuum it....:lol:
