9/25/16 update......
the summer growing season is coming to a end. pulled the the corn stalks and eggplant, wont be long before the other half is done...
did order 20# of red crimson clover seed friday so next weekend will start seeding and putting down straw...
the acorn squash is loaded thanks to my bumble bees...
my late summer experiment cucumbers ...may make it, just dont know yet...
now for the beds.. since my regular pea bed still has watermelons growing in it went to "plan b"
it's been a rough start for the fall/ winter garden, have had to reseed a few things, but the weather is cooling off now so should have a better germination rate.
the 21 cow peas will be pulled later today need to get that bed ready..
the last of the ripe and dry pods
the green onions are slowly growing..
and wait... whats a winter garden without carrots...
Yeah, don't forget those carrots Major!
Your garden is looking good as always.
I will be harvesting my puny little handful of carrots from the straw bale debacle very soon. Heading out of town for a week with my sis so it can wait until I get back.
Maybe they'll have a flush of growth while I'm gone!!
