Bob, you can't keep this up for very long without help. Do you have a sitter or someone that can care for your wife at night or at least a few nights so you can get some sleep? I was up every hour or so caring for my mom for several weeks until she got better, after she fractured her pelvis. I found out real quick that if it was going to be an ongoing thing, that I couldn't keep up. You need someone to come in for the night, you pop a sleeping pill and pass out.

It totally sucks about your floor. What is wrong with people anyway? :he I am glad that you are slowly getting the tile laid yourself, but it shouldn't be so hard to get a good contractor.

My house was empty 10 to 15 years. Kids broke in use has lover lane. Even set house on fire. I dealt with many many workers like the one setting your tile. After years of searching I finally found someone who takes pride in their work and does what they say they will do. He is also way under price. I treat him like royalty, and always pay twice what bill is. I hope he never moves away.

Above the love for your wife you need to do the same for yourself I
Moved home 4 years ago to help care for my step Dad as Mom could not do it alone
Mom would cover nights I did days but ended up with a stroke myself
