I decided I was working on how well my photography is.... I think I'm finally getting a hang of my camera after I've had it over a year! LOL

I did make a nice dinner of pasta with tuna, peas and fresh basil and oregano from the garden. I even mixed all my basils to make a butter sauce for my toast. I also made my own bread.

So I'm sharing some of the photos I've been practicing taking:

And some shots of my garden while I was out:

Very nice work. I am so glad I just got finished with dinner, otherwise I would really be feeling the first two pictures. Very yummy in the details.

The pink flower, is it Linaria?, or is it a Penstemon? I love the look it has. I also grow the coreopsis; courageous are us who dare the coreopsis LOL

Thank you for sharing, Ron

Mmm - delish! My peas haven't even flowered yet, nevermind the vast majority of my perennials. Amazing what differences there are in our gardens and climates.

My peas are now 3ft high but not flowering yet either.....! This year is so odd. My broad beans (fava) are flowering, they are are way over waist height. Nothing has set yet. It's so windy I think the bees are being blown away -- there are plenty about in my garden when the wind drops.

I've just come in from the garden to grab a sandwich Craft in the garden-- I could do with some of your home cooking vfem !!! looks delicious.

While I was inside I thought I would look see if anyone had replied to what I had written about my new garden project under the" Craft in the Garden" subject but nobody has yet :hit. I am working on it now & having a lot of fun.:hit I am very excited about it :ya I'm a bit like a child when I start on a new design for something. So I better get on outside again. :weight:weight

vfem, I haven't forgotten about the rose-cuttings explanation -- I was trying to make notes last night when my laptop decided to pack up on me. It has decided to close down 2 important programs on me & I had to switch TEG and BYC over onto some other system as I can't be without my fix of you all.

Have a great day & Happy Gardening

I used to work for a greeting card company and we did food shots. Yours look very good! (Too bad that top pic has so many carbs. I think my blood sugar just spiked! :gig)
