mystery daisy weed - almost solved - some kind of aster

I'm very interested. I must've missed the part about blooming in spring. I want to know exactly what it is, and i ruled out the prairie variety because of the leaves.

hmm...maybe a Panicled Aster (Aster simplex) ? Who knows....:P

Also, the size of the plant could be affected by amount of water/light received.

Hey...all I'm sayin is that I'm getting an Aster vibe....:gig

It's possible to know what it is....just depends on how hard you're willing to look. ;)

Then again, maybe some Asteraceae expert will come along and tell us what it is...!

Maybe if i'm feeling better tomorrow, i will go outside and get down and dirty with daisies....but this going-to-bed-without-answers business is for the birds. :th

Out here we have an aster that grows in the desert, and since I could not find a name at the time I decided to call it Des-aster (Disaster). LOL

So when I drive by it now I yell out "Look at all this Disaster everywhere!" LOL :lau
