Just another day at the Bird feeder!
Now that he’s found it he may stick around; watching him and the Magpies harass each other is pretty cool.
This is an immature one and a first for us, we have had a couple Ravens in the past but usually just the usual Magpies, some woodpeckers and the little birds; who are the reason for the feeder in the first place.

Woman drops Thanksgiving turkeys from her plane to Alaskans living off the road system

For the last three years, Esther Sanderlin has been loading frozen turkeys onto her plane to drop them off to Alaskans who live off the road system throughout the West Susitna Valley.

When i went out to re-load the bird feeder (for Thanksgiving) this little Red Breasted Nuthatch greeted me, not the least bit afraid! Makes me feel good to see the little birds actively working on the bones!
