Over Night Temperatures

Brrrr....that's cold! Never experienced it. It's been raining the last couple of days and another storm is supposed to hit this weekend. Everything in the yard looks good! Fruit trees are nicely pruned and beds are clean.

it looked like you were having a lot of wind, yesterday. Funny how it was coming from the south in your neighborhood. Much of the US is getting wind from the north.

You had better go out and see if anything blew into your yard from the neighbor's place.

Glad California is getting some rain. We had rain here too, yesterday, which made thick ice everywhere and canceled school after only one day back from vacation

@digitS' cold is coming here this weekend, but then it should warm up again next week. So far, this has been a relatively easy winter, but we have a long ways to go still.

It was 1°f when I got up this morning and has warmed to 4°. I think we may have caught a warm breeze off a lake or the river!

It's still a couple hours before sunrise and I'm expecting below zero by then. Then, sunny and 20° this afternoon ...l Hey. Better than a kick in the head! As long as the wind doesn't show up.

My 30 minute walk was outdoors under the blue sky, yesterday. Crazy! If a rapid heart rate over anxiety about falling counts as exercise, I actually accomplished something ... No more of that behavior until there is major melting!

well the first big blizzard for 2017 has started..

nws forecast is 4-8" tonight ..1-3" tomorrow all the interstates and highways are brined. dw and i went to food lion had to get our cart from outside, inside was a hoot everything was picked over, really they have been telling everyone that this was coming!!!! we had a good laugh while we where picking up the last of everything for this weekend meals. amazing how you think you have everything, and theres those little items you need that you forgot... lines at every gas station.

like where you going? the news ticker is showing everything closed or will be closed tomorrow, of course the news people are telling you to stay home.

@majorcatfish you are so funny! But that is so true. Be it a hurricane or snowstorm, people swarm the stores and gas stations like they will never get another chance to buy food or gas again, ever.

well our big blizzard is done... received 3"

other areas around us received from 1"to 8" the good side it's a dry snow, usually our snows are the wet sloppy kind, the bad part is with the next couple days the days in the upper 20"s so the snow will melt, but then the nights dipping down into the single digits that means black ice.....

everything will back to normal tuesday 50's day and 40's at night for 10 days..

do need to make a correction this was not completely a yankee storm, this was from our friends in northern mexico "texas".... you yankees just supplied the cold air...

what a tag team storm on us mid Atlantic people....
