Ummm! tried that, applied more, scrubbed, then scraped, then applied more again and again ... did not work . I guess that our West Coast stains are tougher than those at the East coat. :th

Wish this home had Pex through out. My dog's water bowls and my brand new white bath sinks are turning blue. I remember this happened last year but went away when spring arrived. I googled it and found out that low pH well water is dissolving the copper piping in the house. I got a Water company to come out and the pH is 6.0; it should be a 7. The solution is to buy a new filter tank at the main, which will increase the pH. They want $2K for it and to haul away the old 1983 filter that is not hooked up. I don't have $2K and since hubs won't be coming home anymore (he's living with his paramour in Crescent ****ty), I guess that low pH water is my new normal.
Aren’t you moving from that house and going south?

Yes, in June. I have no where to go until then. I have renters in my soon to be home who are departing in early June 2019.
WAHOO! A new life and a much happier one, I'm sure. My ex got mad at me for not whipping the A$$ of the woman I caught him with. I still laugh over that...told him there wasn't anything worth fighting for. I bet you are much happier already. Where are you moving to? Got family there?

Hijack a thread? Oh, why yes!

I'm moving to the very expensive golf course home that he just had to have after we sold our Angels Camp home in July. He HAD TO HAVE IT! I'm not a golfer. We bought it at full price cus HE HAD TO HAVE IT. Damn him. Now I'll be renting out a room or two (locum tenens, Medford OR); will go back to work since my living expenses are way hi due to the damn taxes there; and more. Can I just sell the home? Yes, for a loss. So I'll live there and hope that the economy improves and the bedroom community of the golf course will go up to recoup "our" investment in a couple of years. Who knows? Maybe I'll find a rich, retired, love of gardening fella who wants to hit the road in an RV to explore the US, like I thought 'we' would.

Oregon is a Fair and Equitable state; also a No Fault State. So things, like Calif being a Community Property state, means that everything needs to be split down the middle. Its incredibly sad since until that day he told me he's wants a break, I loved him with all my heart. I still kinda do, but his every few days escalation of the emotional barrage, has broken down the love, piece by piece.

Sorry folks. TMI.

Murphy a friend is a real estate wizard he makes $$$$$ flipping houses He once said a house on a golf course is best investment it will always go back up in value no matter the market. Hang in there one day you will be very happy what the house is worth :hugs

HA!!! When will you and your Mrs. be picking me up? I'm packed already!

My first husband and I did all our traveling on his BMW 1200cc touring bike. Saddle bags don't hold much!
