Many thanks! :frowI wish I could take credit for those patches, but other than transplanting the few that I inherited with the house & letting them happen, there was little effort on my part.

Just behind the Tiger Lilies next to the house, I've been trying to increase Blackberry Lilies by broadcasting seed produced by the small clump I was given. No luck for several years - then this year, about a hundred seedlings! :celebrateDW loves those "blackberries" for decoration, soon we'll have enough for several arrangements... and plants to give away. Weather permitting, I hope to give away some mature Tiger Lily bulbs this Fall as well.

What is a blackberry lilly???
Sometimes called toad lily. I have them in several spots around the yard. They do spread pretty easy by seed.

Beautiful, I wish that basket was sitting on my kitchen counter right now, how many hot, how many sweet? . I have to buy mine:(.

Annette

They are all sweet, we do not do hot at all. They really are a treat when roasted over charcoal. That said, we are going to have to give some away as there are more to come yet.
