Yes, @baymule. We had trouble keeping our trees home until we came up with the hosta cages. Now every tree in the yard is surrounded by hostas and all the trees stay put.
And you thought I was sending you a hosta as a decoration.
Do they work on chickens? Ha! I wouldn't need the coop/run!! Wowsers! Would that work on goats too? We could corner the market on animal control! Unless the chickens/goats/assorted livestock ate the hosta-ge fence........
Unfortunately, baymule, my chickens did eat hosta once. I'd be guessing goats would really go for them. I suspect trees are better behaved and easier to control with hosta than anything with feet and an appetite would be. Of course I could be wrong.
