Smart Red, those are beautiful gardens! It made me think, who has the most beautiful gardens in TEG? I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :hide Note to self, now don't start any trouble Mary.

Thank you, Mary. Those are good photos of a less than Most Beautiful Garden. See the dandelions with the pink tulip, the many unwanted violets (weeds to me here) in with the primroses, the dead boxwoods and the unkempt mockorange between the flowering crabs. I could go on and on with the subtle clues you must have missed, that all is not rosy and trim in my world.

I could post pics of other parts of the yard that would have you running as far and as fast as you can, but I tried to find something appealing rather than appalling. Sometimes I have to almost force myself to see what is good when I spend so much of my time attacking what is unruly.

Mary, you have a lovely place that you are and should be proud of.

Aww..Smart Red thank you. I know that if I were to help you, everything would be rosy and trim. Not a weed in sight and no appalling sights! Ha, I'm sort of a neat freak.

I don't even know what 30 acres look like! But I do know what a postage stamp looks like. :D

I know this is crazy but I sometimes wish I was rich and could go around the country helping you guys for a couple of weeks in your gardens!
