Are you in the states - what state ? It’s easier to answer questions if the state is included.
Your info is most helpful for propagating trees, shrubs, this is a good time of year in north western Oregon to take cuttings .

Yes southern Illinois, USDA changed our zone from 6B to 7 this year. But I knew we're were in zone 7 many years before it became official.

Thank you now I can guesstimate better when following thru on questions and answers.

The zones have really been up and down here too. Lost a few plants in the garden that were propagated from cuttings from friends during an extreme ice storm the first in history a couple years ago. So I’m with you our growing zone changes with the extreme climate change it seems yearly.
