By my graduation in 2001, I had learned that it doesn’t take fortune and fame to succeed. It takes being grounded and focused, in a day and age where a quick fix is the more sought-after solution rather than good, old-fashioned hard work.

I used to know someone who almost always said things with a negative slant - I used to irritate them by giving it a positive slant
"Oh no, it's going to rain again tomorrow." "But the sun is shining today."
"Oh great. I like that song and now we have to get out of the car." "Oh great. You got to hear part of your favorite song this afternoon."

LOL, I drive my oldest nuts with it! He says MOM, is your glass ALWAYS 1/2 full? You bet it is son.

I kill them in yard. Farmers kill them in fields but they are free to grow elsewhere and in some people’s yards. I’m good with that.My neighbors see them as weeds too. I see them as one of the earliest pollen sources for my native bees. We respectfully disagree.
