Got my Tronchuda Kale seeds at Baker Creek, this is my first year growing it. I grow about 15 kinds of kale. Brassicas of all kinds can cross, you may have noticed the new trend of kale 'lollipops' which are small kale rosettes covering the stalks of brussels sprouts. If you want to see how these different groups cross, google the 'Triange of U'
I always let several plants of each kind go to flower, because my bees love them, and save the resulting seed. Haven't met a brassica I didn't like, so as a landrace developer I really don't care if things cross as long as they grow well here.
