Recommendation For Digital Camera

Something else. It's great that our phones can take beautiful pictures, but they are primarily phones, necessary for communication and for, like me, business calls. You can be interrupted in your picture taking with a call and they are built like glass which breaks when you drop them. Most people buy their package, NOT the phone and don't realize that these smartphones really cost:

You drop it and crack the display, you have to buy a new one. Pocket cameras do break, but not as easily. They can handle being used outside.

Funny yesterday I was at best buy website put nikon coolpix and about 10 different cameras all with that name came up

I'm sure they keep updating them, like everything else.
Mine was $80 at Costco because the new one had come out and they were trying to move the older models out.

Why do some camera have WI-FI

You can put your photos onto your hard drive wirelessly.My camera does that but I am not in the mood to learn a new trick.

Text? Who texts? Not me... not if I do not have too! Thankfully neither son does much of it either. A phone call will do.

My phone texts what I speak. much easier than hitting the letters just right.
