Okay, I took the 'test' again. . . and again. . . and again. . . and finally I got a result. Two cities matching my language are in the far south, but the brightest red is Milwaukee. I spent many weekends barhopping and relative visiting in West Alice, a suburb of Milwaukee. I know I took many of their words because I liked the sound better than what everyone here said.

I took it a couple of times, once based on when I lived outside New Orleans and once ignoring those obvious choices. The first time New Orleans came in as first choice and Baton Rouge second, which makes sense.

The other time Birmingham Alabama came I first. I’ve never lived there or in that general area but I’ve lived and worked many places including several overseas in Europe, Africa, and Asia. I didn’t know what to expect but I didn’t expect that.

Parkway not highway

In Wisconsin (my part anyway) highways (11, 213, 14, etc.) go from city to city and are mostly 2 lane; freeways (I-90, I-45, etc) go from state to state and are at least 4 lane; Highway 51 changes into I-151 and back in some places. It is simply Hwy 51 where I live; Parkway? We are not allowed to park along freeways, but parking along highways is usually okay. Not many park views along roads in the dairy state either.
My first thought was a Monopoly duo of deeds -- Parkplace and Broadway = Parkway. Problems with the test include not allowing multiple answers for some questions.

Touché!

buns or rolls? My brother married a New Jersey girl. They were often heard arguing about whether you ate buns at dinner and rolls at breakfast or rolls at dinner and buns for breakfast.

A submarine or just sub sandwich. 12" Salame, pickles, one small slice of jalapeno, some hungarian yellow pickled pepper slices, provolene cheese, only regular yellow mustard. triple up the salame!

making me want to go to subway, one of 2 of them they have in Ukiah. Nah, probably closed today and tomorrow...
