Have you all heard of the website called DogFoodAdvisor.com? It seems legitimate, a site where they analyse the contents stated on various dog food, and rate it according to nutrients, types of protein, additives, source of ingredients, etc. They don't do chemical analysis; just use the information on the bag, and have knowledge of some industry standards.
They do a lengthy write-up of each kind of food, and rate it with one to five stars. It is totally amazing that some of the best known and trusted dog food only clocks in at a one or two star. Check it out.

My comment on outside dogs vs inside dogs is not nor was not an indictment against anyone. Just a general observation.

People that have inside dogs vary from anal about dogs to just part of household. Outside dogs go from part of household to just an animal. because too many outside dogs face neglect, that is why I contend that they aren't inspected as much. I'm talking averages not specifics. Prime example-dog has fleas inside, you will know ASAP. Outside, ?.

Feel free to disagree, doesn't hurt my feelings. :)

I would concur with that general observation Seed.
Perhaps I took it specifically.

Wow, that's a really helpful link, So Lucky. Thanks! Boogie's food got a 4-star. I'm happy with that. :)
