I feel your frustration. My mother fed most of her roast beef to the dog several nights ago because I forgot to give her a knife. She would rather her face fall off than to ask me for anything. I was sitting right there with her, all she had to do was ask. But nooooooooo........ rip off a couple of chunks with her fingers, so she could complain later about the meat crumbs under her fingernails, and give that expensive $$$$$ beef to the dog.

Something you can actually help with and he doesn't tell you......

My sore wrist and thumb are better! This was after a good 6months of problems, worsen this spring!

Yes - it's a collar with a seatbelt buckle! CUTE - but probably too big and heavy for Garbanzo.

I would think that a belt buckle collar would work. Get two collars and keep the leash attached to the 'walk' collar all the time. Those leashes are often a pain to take off and on.

Somehow I missed the remainder of this thread last year. @canesisters, did you figure out something for your dad's seat belt? These arthritic fingers don't get better, just worse, with time.
I am having a very difficult time with Penny's prong collar. Can hardly get it on, can hardly get it off. Like Steve's Garbanzo, Penny probably thinks I am trying to choke her.

My father refuses to wear a seatbelt. This year so far, I think he gotten 5 or 6 tickets for no seatbelt. We would have the biggest fights, when I was driving because he wouldn't wear one. I told him as the driver I would be the one ticked he doesn't care. I know one day my luck will run out driving him around.

@Nyboy, hopefully if you get stopped with your dad in the car, the cop will know from experience how difficult it is to get a grumpy old man to do anything, and go easy on you.
