Back on-topic, don't forget to include the year you collected the seeds on your packets. Always collect a lot more than you think you will need, because you may get a year when your crop could fail.

SO, back on topic then.....I agree with collecting more than you need because seeds do keep for several years if kept dry and cool AND you might want to trade some seeds for other things you want to try. Giving seeds to friends and family or charitable organizations is always a nice, wonderful gift.

Yes Farmer, I agree I think they make wonderful gifts. :ya And Heirlooms to boot :old :happy_flower :watering
I am hoping my grandchildren and my nieces still love gardening as much in later years as they seem to now :tools :watering It's a wonderful leagacy :throw
