Mary you are a decent human being without control issues. You don't know how unique that makes you and how much I appreciate knowing there are people like you around.

Awww...thank you. I try to be kind and caring. Although my kids probably don't agree, haha.

I'm thankfully mall free here too and quite good at and lucky with finding that elusive FREE parking spaces, in this country with it's tight streets, that is no mean feat. On the rare occasion when I fail, I often find myself in one of those minimum 2 hours prepaid for, display ticket parking spaces. Usually when I need no more than about 15-20 minutes. So left one day with well over 90 minutes' paid for parking (€2) and no need to hang around, I looked around the parking lot and saw a car approaching. I grabbed my ticket and stopped the approaching car and asked the driver if he's after a parking space. He said yes, he is, so I said great, here's my ticket, there is still loads of time left on it, my car's over there, you can have my space. Made that guy so happy :) I've done it a few times since, when in that situation and I hope those motorists will pay-it-forward and do it to others too.

we prefer staying away from malls or the outlet stores all together
the three of us have the same aversion to them

Life is good when you don't shop! :D No traffic, no malls, no nothin'. Just peaceful living! Where I live you can't even HEAR traffic unless it's an especially clear day that's good for sound carrying long distances.

Y'all have fun shopping. :caf

Went to the Post office this morning, 20 minutes in line. Then went to coffee shop for gift certificate, 3 minutes in line. Went to Lululemon store for gift certificates, 3 minutes in line. Went to Honeybaked Hams store, 2 minutes in line. Not bad at all. Found parking right in front at all places.

Now I'm off to do grocery shopping and I know store will be crowded. That's ok it's only 1:13 in the afternoon and I don't have anything else to do but sip my tea on a rainy day! Love it! :)
