Shopping Mall Traffic

Gift cards make Christmas shopping much easier. Most of my family are getting fire extinguishers from me this year

I stopped sending the nieces and nephews gift cards a few years back. I got them from two different sources and they did not work, either source, please send the receipt so they will honor the gift card. Now I send new crisp bills. You don't need a receipt to make them work. I haven't had any complaints either.

That is my big fear I tape receipt to gift card.

There is a mall in Tyler, we've been here 2 years and might have been to the mall 3 times. There is a huge brand open air mall on the south end of Tyler, we go there and shop. There are lots of options for shopping and eating out in Tyler, nice town. But very glad that we don't live there!

haha @Ridgerunner once I took my Mom and small grand daughter to Walmart. A man in a car was waiting on my spot, as I helped Mom in the car, then scooped up my grand daughter and buckled her in her car seat. Then I buckled Mom's seat belt and collapsed her walker to put in the trunk. About halfway through I looked up at the man and shrugged with a smile, he smiled back as if to say take your time. As I finally got into my seat and started the car, we both waved and smiled. No why can't everybody be that nice?

My parent once took my grandmother and her 2 sisters ( all 3 in their 90s) to lunch . The place was downtown with no parking lot only street parking. after lunch my father went and got the car and double parked in front. my mother was helping my 2 ancient aunts into the back seat when the owner of the car they where parked next to showed up. He was drinking or on some drug and became very inpatient waiting and started cursing my mother. my grandmother was standing next to my mother and said don't you talk to my daughter that way. The man said shut up you ugly old bag. my grandmother was one of the vainest woman alive. My mother said she got this frown next thing her fist comes flying up clocking the man in the mouth. The man fell like a stack of potatoes to the ground. my mother worried my grandmother would be arrested threw her in back seat. as they where pulling away my grandmother was hanging out the car window yelling I better not caught you on the street. We started calling her rocky afterward

Red you have no idea. That night my sisters friend was having dinner with us. She worked dispatch at local police station. My mother was very worried my grandmother would be arrested. Kim said don't worry there is no man who will go to police and say a little old lady knocked me down

And I would dearly love to know what that man had to say about the events afterwards… Judging from his behaviour beforehand, he doesn't sound the type who'd readily admit to being floored by a 90yo granny!
