Arla Suspends Dairy Supplier For Brutal Attacks on Cows and Calves.

Following an investigation made by the charity Animal Justice Project. The Arla cooperation has cut ties with, Lowfields Farm, Northallerton in Yorkshire.

All the workers including their manager, had been filmed torturing the cows and calves under their care

The farm housed 2,000 cows in sqaulered conditions, that was meant too contain a maximum of a thousand cattle.

Animal justice project had filmed footage of the cows and calves, sometimes within minutes birth, being slapped cruelly beaten, kicked punched, and beaten with pipes and electrical goads.

Claire Palmer, the director of the animal justice said, this investigation exposed "shocking cruelty" and brutality inflicted upon these cows and calves. Exposing the "brutal hidden reality these cows face daily".

There are videos on this disgusting abuse but I cannot add it here and I really couldn't watch it.
I've heard enough to get what these barbarians have done.

What is even more sickening. I haven't heard of any charges brought against them. So god only knows what else this bunch of filthy low lives will get away with.

Apparently they're are going to use the Latin names for these insects. But I thought I saw one dog food with insects added yesterday but it wasn't, because it was a locust bean! Then I found that this is fruit pods from a carob tree. What do I know 🤔

I'm very suspicious of our foods now. I was anyway but even more lately.

I heard that they will be using these insects in breads pasta, many protein bars.

As for the vegan meals, that is a huge p-ss take on these people that will not touch any foods with live creatures added.

I hope they don't add it to our flour. Why are privileged people so vindictive. 🙄
As a teenager I loved a drink called Oceanspray Cranberry juice, tart and sweet. Deep red color. Little did I know that all those bottles I drank were colored with crushed red bugs. Who knows how long the bugs in food thing has been going on? At this stage though with food additives and flavor enhancers, bugs are tame. If you do a dive into the topic the results are grim. Oklahoma passed a bill banning the use of human kidney cells as a flavor enhancer in food and drink. It's probably never been more important to grow your own food as much as you can.

eta: I forgot the name of the company who created that human cell flavor enhancer, but it came to me. Senomyx. Pepsi was in partnership with them for a time.

Since when were cannibals in control of food.
This world is getting more and more crazy each day.
:epKidney cells ? This is really terrible. When was that Bill passed? And what food and drinks?

I'm guessing we just can't know what food and drink but I'm asking anyway.

You might be cheered to know that once Oceanspray was exposed for using cochineal beetles in it's drinks, they buckled to public pressure and released a public statement that they no longer use animal products in their drinks. So you're probably ok!

Actually there have been a bunch of lists compiled about what food, drinks, vaccines & cosmetic products use Senomyx HEK293 cells. When Pepsi was exposed for it's partnership with Senomyx it backed out of the deal. There could be other companies using the same technology who have been more clever at staying beneath the radar though. There are many pro life groups that have compiled lists but the algorythim buries them. You need to dig a little to find them, but here is a start,

"Senomyx has entered into product discovery and development collaborations with seven of the world’s leading packaged food and beverage companies: Ajinomoto Co., Inc., Cadbury Schweppes, Campbell Soup Company, The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods Global, Inc., Nestlé SA, and Solae." - From NASDAQ

Marie you can find the senate bill by googling 'Senate Bill 1418 Oklahoma - date 2012'. That might lead you to it directly. There is another bill by the same title from another year, so it can be confusing. Most of the government documents are published in pdf form, and I'm not very good with all this technology, but there may be someone who can help you find a another way to access the documents.
